SAN DIEGO -- A man who tortured to death his girlfriend's three dogs in their College-area home last year was sentenced Friday.
Patrick Caleb Land, 25, had pleaded guilty to multiple animal abuse charges. Judge Charles Rogers sentenced Land to 5 years and 4 months in prison.
