CALGARY - The Crown has laid two second-degree murder charges against a Calgary mom accused of attempting to slay her newborn son by tossing him in a dumpster.
The murder charges allege Meredith Katharine Borowiec killed two earlier children, the first between Jan. 1 and April 1, 2008, and the second between July 1 and Aug. 1, 2009.
