The suspect of a break-in was in hospital on Saturday night after a shootout that left three people dead and two others wounded.
Fayetteville, North Carolina, police sergeant Gary Womble said officers got a call about a break-in at a house in the city on Saturday morning.
When they arrived at the scene they found two people dead, and three injured.
