A doctor and his wife were shot at their home in a prestigious gated community on Monday night.
Hector Rivera, 76, and Debra Rivera, 55, who lived in the exclusive Avila community in Tampa Bay, Florida, were found dead after 8pm in an apparent double homicide.
A deputy said he responded to calls that shots were fired at the home and when he went to investigate found the two dead bodies.
