A 21-year-old woman fell or jumped to her death from a luxury high-rise building near the United Nations, police said.
Her body was found last night on the pavement in front of 100 United Nations Plaza on the corner of E. 48th St. and First Ave.
Police and witnesses said the incident happened at around 11:40 p.m and the woman whose name has not yet been released died at the scene.
