Mummified body discovered in air vent at French bank after workers complained of bad smell

A mummified body has been discovered inside the air duct of a French bank after workers had been complaining of a bad smell for several months.

Police and firefighters were last night attempting to dislodge the half-rotten corpse at a branch of Credit Foncier in Lyon, eastern France.

One theory being explored is that the body is that of a burglar. It may also be an employee or a vagrant.
