A murder hunt is under way after the body of a woman was found in a suitcase yesterday.
The grisly discovery was made by an unwitting walker who came across the bag that had been left close to the Phoenix Park.
The victim, who was originally from Malawi, had been living here for the past two years in Rathmines, on Dublin's southside.
The 26-year-old had been studying here, garda sources said. Last night, it emerged that her fully clothed body was found with a plastic bag over the head. She had been strangled.

"He who can, does. He who cannot, teaches."
"Being is substance and life; life manifests by movement; movement is perpetuated by equilibrium; equilibrium is therefore the law of immortality.
"The doctrine of equality!... But there exists no more poisonous poison: for it seems to be preached by justice itself, while it is the end of justice.... "Equality for equals, inequality for unequals" that would be the true voice of justice: and, what follows from it, "Never make equal what is unequal."
