A woman jumped to her death off a cliff because of fears she was becoming too dependent on people - just like her late mother.
Judith Iles, a retired GP surgery administrator, had suffered two chest infections and was becoming increasingly dependent on people to look after her.
The 60-year-old left a note for her husband and son saying 'So sorry, I’m turning into my mum - I couldn’t stand that' - and then jumped 70 feet to her death at the famous Wintour’s Leap beauty spot in the Wye Valley.

"He who can, does. He who cannot, teaches."
"Being is substance and life; life manifests by movement; movement is perpetuated by equilibrium; equilibrium is therefore the law of immortality.
"The doctrine of equality!... But there exists no more poisonous poison: for it seems to be preached by justice itself, while it is the end of justice.... "Equality for equals, inequality for unequals" that would be the true voice of justice: and, what follows from it, "Never make equal what is unequal."
