PERRIS, Calif. (KTLA) -- A 9-year-old Chihuahua named Lily has died of its injuries after being struck with a golf club in Riverside County on Thursday. Authorities say Lily died on Friday.
Lily suffered a lacerated liver, broken leg and head trauma, according to Riverside officials.
58-year-old Larry Edward Jaurequi, of Menifee, was booked for felony animal cruelty.
