An elderly gardener emptying an allotment water tank discovered the skull of a woman murdered and cut in two six years earlier, a court heard today.
Julie Dorsett, 33, went missing in 2002, the Old Bailey heard. It is alleged she was beaten to death and dismembered before being dumped on the allotment by her ex-boyfriend Sinclair Lewis, 55.
As Charles Joseph was clearing the allotment he tipped over an old water tank and a human skull and two bones from the upper arms tumbled out, the court heard.
