Singapore. A Bangladeshi painter hanged himself after being tricked into taking part in a scam which cost five colleagues their work permits.
Roni Miya Rajaul Karim, 20, was afraid he would be sent home after persuading his co-workers to moonlight with him, a coroner's inquiry heard on Wednesday. His friends also blamed him for the loss of their permits.
