The 39-year-old University of British Columbia student found dead on a Mexican beach was stabbed and burned.
The bodies of Ximena Osegueda and her boyfriend, Alejandro Honorio Santamaria, were discovered partly buried in the sand at a beach in Huatulco, in the state of Oaxaca, according to local media reports.
