Three people have been killed in a car crash west of Alice Springs in central Australia. Police say they began chasing the car, which was carrying five people, after it failed to pull over east of the remote community of Hermannsburg on Saturday night. Officers say they aborted the chase after it reached high speed, but later found the car on its roof about 40 kilometres down the road.
