What started out as an alcohol-soaked Christmas party ended with blood on the tree when police say a 19-year-old woman stabbed a stranger nine times for mocking her boyfriend. Desiree Kleinow, of South Daytona, was charged with attempted murder for allegedly attacking 30-year-old Joshua Stonaker after the man had repeatedly made fun of her Hispanic boyfriend, calling him ‘Juan Valdez’ in reference to the fictional Columbian farmer from the popular coffee ads. As the party progressed, Kleinow's boyfriend, Jason Ojeda, and Stonaker had made peace and shook hands, but the 19-year-old, who was reportedly drunk at the time, was not satisfied. Early Tuesday morning, police say Kleinow attacked Stonaker as he was having a conversation with her boyfriend, plunging a serrated knife with a five-inch into his chest, neck and back, Orlando Sentinel reported. The stabbing only stopped when Kleinow's mother, who was also at the party but was taking a nap, woke up and yelled at her.
