An estranged husband fatally shot his wife in the back parking lot of a Texas school, then returned home to kill himself.
Gregory Robinson, 54, attacked Valerie Robinson, 46, outside Tompkins High School in Katy, at 6.11 am on Friday morning. The couple had three children and number of grandchildren
Mr Robinson then drove away in a truck before barricading himself in his Brookshire house, leading to a tense standoff with authorities.
The couple's son, Gregory Robinson Jr, and other family members looked on from the street. Officers stormed the house just after 10.30 am and found Mr Robinson dead inside.

"He who can, does. He who cannot, teaches."
"Being is substance and life; life manifests by movement; movement is perpetuated by equilibrium; equilibrium is therefore the law of immortality.
"The doctrine of equality!... But there exists no more poisonous poison: for it seems to be preached by justice itself, while it is the end of justice.... "Equality for equals, inequality for unequals" that would be the true voice of justice: and, what follows from it, "Never make equal what is unequal."
