Nearly twice as many children are accidentally shot dead in America than official records show, a study shows, strengthening the case for gun safe storage laws in the US.
More than half of the 259 accidental firearms deaths of children aged under 15 in the US were not reported in figures used by lobbyists in government to protect their gun rights.
