A teenage skateboarder was killed Thursday as he tried to hitch a ride on the side of a truck in Queens, officials said.
Alexander Ciszewski, 18, was hanging onto the side of a 2005 box truck as it rolled along 47th Ave. near 32nd Place in Sunnyside at noon when he fell under the rear wheels, police sources said. Ciszewski, who lived just a few blocks away, was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital, but doctors were unable to save him.
The truck kept going, officials said. The driver remained at large Thursday, but police sources said it’s possible that he didn’t know he hit anyone.

"He who can, does. He who cannot, teaches."
"Being is substance and life; life manifests by movement; movement is perpetuated by equilibrium; equilibrium is therefore the law of immortality.
"The doctrine of equality!... But there exists no more poisonous poison: for it seems to be preached by justice itself, while it is the end of justice.... "Equality for equals, inequality for unequals" that would be the true voice of justice: and, what follows from it, "Never make equal what is unequal."
