An 11-year-old Florida girl is in hospital after a dog ripped off her top lip and part of her nose. Jacklyn Tucker, from Royal Palm Beach, was at a friend's house last Tuesday when the family's Jack Russell Terrier and English Bulldog cross attacked her, ravaging her face. 'I just kept my eyes closed,' Jacklyn said, according to the Palm Beach Post. 'I just laid there, and I closed my eyes, hoping the dog would just go away.'

"He who can, does. He who cannot, teaches."
"Being is substance and life; life manifests by movement; movement is perpetuated by equilibrium; equilibrium is therefore the law of immortality.
"The doctrine of equality!... But there exists no more poisonous poison: for it seems to be preached by justice itself, while it is the end of justice.... "Equality for equals, inequality for unequals" that would be the true voice of justice: and, what follows from it, "Never make equal what is unequal."
