SANTA ANA, Calif. (AP) — A 5-year-old girl was killed and her mother and sister were critically injured Saturday after they were struck by a driver who attempted to flee before being stopped by a driver who witnessed the crash, police said. The driver, Jessica Louise Cowan, 33, was arrested on suspicion of hit-and-run, driving under the influence and manslaughter, police Cpl. Anthony Bertagna said.
