An elderly driver accidentally reversed over his wife of 41 years and crushed her to death. Grief-stricken Malcolm Gittins, a cancer patient, ran over his Swedish-born wife Vivien when his car slipped into reverse as she tried to guide him into the garage. Mr Gittins, 80, now faces a possible charge of manslaughter after his 75-year-old wife died from her injuries in hospital.
