A 16-year-old boy from Georgia was expected to make his first court appearance Monday morning after allegedly stabbing his stepfather to death with a samurai sword, police said. Shortly before midnight Friday, a relative of the teen called 911 to report the stabbing at the Jasper home, Lt. Kris Stancil of the Pickens County Sheriff’s office said. Deputies found the victim, Christopher Allen, inside the Fern Creek Court home, located in the gated community of the Preserve at Sharp Mountain, Stancil said, about about 60 miles north of Atlanta.
