Man claims their voodoo spells made him brutally beat his grandmother Beverly Holmes, sister Simone with artificial elephant tusk

A Harlem man who believed his grandmother and sister had put him under a voodoo spell viciously beat them with an artificial elephant tusk Wednesday before injuring six cops sent to subdue him. Dominick Anderson, 27, went on a wild rampage in his family’s Harlem apartment just two days after discovering a makeshift shrine in his sister’s bedroom closet that contained a doll and a photo of him, his mother said. Anderson’s grandmother Beverly Holmes, 62, was critically injured, and his sister, Simone, 17, suffered a bloody gash to her head when violence erupted in the St. Nicholas Ave. pad just after 8 a.m. Man claims their voodoo spells made him brutally beat his grandmother Beverly Holmes, sister Simone with artificial elephant tusk.
