LOS ANGELES, Calif. (KTLA) — The investigation continued on Tuesday into the stabbing death of an 11-year-old boy in the Westlake District during an apparent family dispute.
Authorities identified the victim as Jai Shaun Lewis, of Los Angeles.
Police responded to a domestic dispute call just before 9 a.m. on Monday at an apartment in the 200 block of South Carondolet Street.
Officers found Lewis severely bleeding from stab wounds.
He was rushed to Children’s Hospital in full cardiac arrest and pronounced dead at the hospital.
In the apartment, officers found Lewis’ mother and a 26-year-old man, who was also bleeding from stab wounds. Police said he was the boy’s stepfather.

"He who can, does. He who cannot, teaches."
"Being is substance and life; life manifests by movement; movement is perpetuated by equilibrium; equilibrium is therefore the law of immortality.
"The doctrine of equality!... But there exists no more poisonous poison: for it seems to be preached by justice itself, while it is the end of justice.... "Equality for equals, inequality for unequals" that would be the true voice of justice: and, what follows from it, "Never make equal what is unequal."
