NGLEWOOD, Calif. (KTLA) — Officers shot and killed a man who was breaking patrol car windows in the Inglewood Police Department parking lot on Saturday, Inglewood Police Officer Lt. Fried said.
The man refused to comply with commands to stop the violent tirade, according to Fried.
He added the assailant was armed with a blade-like weapon resembling a sword that he used to smash the windows of eight patrol cars.
The man was treated and transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
