OSAKA —
Police on Monday said they have arrested a 41-year-old man after he allegedly beat his father to death at his home.
The accused, who has been named as Nobuhiko Hino, threw water at his 85-year-old father while he was asleep before punching him in the face and stomach on Sunday, Fuji TV quoted police as saying. He then called police himself at 3:10 p.m. to report the attack.
The victim, Toshi Hino, was taken to hospital where he was confirmed dead. Officers arrested Nobuhiko at the scene on a charge of assault and upgraded it to manslaughter on Monday.
During police questioning, Hino was quoted as saying, “I had been helping my father at work and we’d had a fight. I was feeling stressed, so I hit him.”

"He who can, does. He who cannot, teaches."
"Being is substance and life; life manifests by movement; movement is perpetuated by equilibrium; equilibrium is therefore the law of immortality.
"The doctrine of equality!... But there exists no more poisonous poison: for it seems to be preached by justice itself, while it is the end of justice.... "Equality for equals, inequality for unequals" that would be the true voice of justice: and, what follows from it, "Never make equal what is unequal."
