TORONTO - A dispute over a bicycle may have sparked the killing of a 16-year-old boy in a Weston Rd. highrise over the weekend.
Toronto Police have charged a 14-year-old boy in the shooting which happened around midnight on Sunday.
Trishann, 26, who lives at 2240 Weston Rd., north of Lawrence Ave., said she saw the teen along with his brother fighting with another boy in the lobby, just before the shooting took place.
“I’d seen them right before the whole thing went down,” Trishann, who didn’t wish to give her last name, said Tuesday outside the apartment building. “They were arguing over a bicycle."
