24-year-old killed when joy-ride turns into multiple-car smashup on busy street in Queens

A Sanitation Department worker was thrown from his speeding car and killed after it smashed into several other vehicles while careening down a busy Queens street early Saturday, police said.

Twenty-four-year-old Dominick Bunch — who police suspect had been drinking — was ejected through his Toyota Camry’s windshield and skidded lifelessly on Atlantic Ave. in Woodhaven just before 3 a.m.

As investigators removed Bunch’s corpse hours later, the crumpled Camry’s stereo was still blaring music, providing little comfort to the dead man’s relatives who wept at the grisly crash scene.

Two of his passengers were injured in the wreck but are expected to survive — to the shock of horrified witnesses.
