At about 1:40 p.m., La Plata County Sheriff’s Office deputies were sent on a report of suspicious circumstances at a residence on Colorado State Hwy 140, about 1/2 mile north of the Colorado-New Mexico border, southwest of Durango. When deputies arrived on the property, they discovered the body of a man hanging in a barn from what initially appears to be a possible suicide.
While conducting a welfare check on the rest of the property, Deputies found a foot protruding from freshly dug dirt near a river bank and they recovered the body of another man.
Based on information found at the residence, the sheriff’s office asked Durango Police Department to check on the welfare of a woman at a home in Durango. When officers arrived, they found the body of an adult woman.

"He who can, does. He who cannot, teaches."
"Being is substance and life; life manifests by movement; movement is perpetuated by equilibrium; equilibrium is therefore the law of immortality.
"The doctrine of equality!... But there exists no more poisonous poison: for it seems to be preached by justice itself, while it is the end of justice.... "Equality for equals, inequality for unequals" that would be the true voice of justice: and, what follows from it, "Never make equal what is unequal."
