A two-year-old boy suffered serious injuries to his face when he was mauled by dogs as he played near his home.
Two dogs, believed to be Staffordshire bull terriers, launched themselves at Kieron Guess in a garden at about 6pm yesterday.
A 49-year-old man was also injured as he tried to pull the animals off the boy, who was later airlifted to hospital by helicopter.
