A Rikers Island prison officer stalked his ex-girlfriend to her Massachusetts home where he shot her in the head, killed a veteran cop trying to protect her then turned the gun on himself.
The murder-suicide happened just 30 minutes after Shawn Bryan’s estranged girlfriend, Charlene Mitchell was granted a protection order against him.
The couple’s one-year-old daughter was in the Springfield, Massachusetts, apartment when the gruesome incidents unfolded around 1pm Monday, although she was not hurt.
