Teenager, 19, dies after 89-year-old driver with dementia drove wrong way down dual-carriageway

A 19-year-old girl died after being hit by an elderly driver with dementia going the wrong way down a dual carriageway. Charlotte Pitwell was travelling on the A404 in Buckinghamshire last September when 89-year-old Stanley Tomlinson hit her car. Her family are now demanding a change to the law on elderly drivers in the hope it will save lives.
