A Sydney man has been jailed for seven-and-a-half years for stabbing his best friend to death, after finding him in bed with his wife. Korean man Joachim Won was found guilty of manslaughter but acquitted of the more serious charge of murder on the grounds of provocation. A New South Wales Supreme Court jury heard that when he came home from work sick in May 2010 he found his wife Anna having sex with his friend Hyung Mo Lee. The couple had met Lee through a Korean social club. Won stabbed his friend seven times, then had a glass of wine. In sentencing him to seven-and-a-half years jail with a non-parole period of five years, Justice Elizabeth Fullerton said that although infidelity is upsetting, the attack on the victim was sustained, determined and delivered with violence. "Regrettable though it may be, a lack of fidelity is not uncommon," she told the court.

"He who can, does. He who cannot, teaches."
"Being is substance and life; life manifests by movement; movement is perpetuated by equilibrium; equilibrium is therefore the law of immortality.
"The doctrine of equality!... But there exists no more poisonous poison: for it seems to be preached by justice itself, while it is the end of justice.... "Equality for equals, inequality for unequals" that would be the true voice of justice: and, what follows from it, "Never make equal what is unequal."
