SAN DIEGO - A San Diego judge sentenced a man Monday for raping and torturing his stepdaughters for years. Corazon Paulino Flores, 70, received a 475 years-to-life in state prison from San Diego Superior Court Judge Runston Maino for 27 felony counts of child molestation and rape, San Diego County District Attorney Bonnie M. Dumanis announced Monday. A jury convicted Flores in June after Deputy DA Tracy Prior told them the defendant would take his two daughters to remote locations, rape them, and threaten them with knives and guns. One girl was victimized from kindergarten through high school. Both girls did not report the abuse until years later as they feared for their lives, according to Prior.
