A five-year-old girl has died after her father - a 'prominent religious scholar' - allegedly beat her to death with 'whips and hot metal'. Lamaa died in the intensive care unit of a Riyadh hospital in Saudi Arabia after months of 'suffering from broken arms, [a] skull fracture and head bruises'. Al Arabiya news reported that the child was tortured with 'whips and electric shocks' while Saudi website Emirates 24/7 claims the scholar and his new wife used 'sticks and hot metals' to beat the girl.
