Police are searching for a 26-year-old man suspected of murder after his girlfriend and her two children were found dead in their Vienne home on Thursday. Emergency rescue staff and police made the macabre discovery of the bodies in an apartment in the city of 30,000 south of Lyon. Police found a three-month-old girl in a refrigerator, her five-year-old sister in a freezer and the 26-year-old mother lying in a pool of blood behind a couch. Officers were called to the home after the girl’s maternal grandmother contacted police over concerns about not having heard from the family members, 20Minutes.fr reported. “This young woman, like her children killed several days ago according to our initial investigations, has a certain number of knife wounds,” the website quoted Jean-Yves Coquillat, Grenoble prosecutor as saying.
