A woman was raped and a man pistol-whipped at their apartment while an 18-month-old toddler slept in the house. Two gun-toting men attacked the family - apparently at random - before ransacking their home in Burien, Washington, and fleeing the scene. They were seen jumping on the father, who is in his 20s, as he approached his home at around 9pm last night. The pair then forced their way into the triplex and attacked both parents while the child slept through the chaos. Police said the man was being treated for head wounds, while the woman is 'very traumatised', according to King5.com. They are now searching for two African men, both of thin build, 5'7 to 5'9, aged 19 to 25. Tracking dogs were put on the scent, but after a downpour, the responsibility for catching the suspects now lies with crime scene officers.
