Boy, 15, charged over doorstep acid attack that left woman, 28, with horrific burns

A boy of 15 has been charged following a doorstep acid attack that left a 28-year-old woman with horrific facial injuries. Tara Quigley suffered major burns to her head and arms after answering her door to a stranger. It is feared she will be scarred for life. She had answered the door and spoke to someone who asked to speak to "Michelle" shortly before 9pm on the day of the assault. He returned about 30 minutes later and squirted an acidic substance in her face from a bottle, according to police.
