A Florida man beat his friend to death with a baseball bat after arguing over how to slice barbecue, police said.
Alvin Kenneth (Chico) Welch Jr., 35, allegedly hit party host Joshua Andrew Heinz over the head with the weapon at his home in Jacksonville on Saturday night.
The duo had been watching football with pals, and Welch was getting a take-home plate when things got tense over how the food was being carved, police said.
