Three Express TV station workers were mowed down by Pakistani Taliban assailants in Karachi because of biased reporting, the terrorist organization said.
The employees were in a company vehicle when gunmen on motorcycles shot them to death in Pakistan's largest city, police said.
The driver, guard and technician for the private station were on the clock when the Taliban hit men shoved guns inside their van and opened fire, police said.
A regional Taliban spokesman claimed credit for the assassinations in a telephone call to Reuters.
