A Chicago dancer was killed Monday in a freak accident when a steel aerial acrobatics ring fell and hit him in the back of the head.
Marco Antonio Huicochea Gonzalez, 22, died as he and his fellow performers at DanceWorks Chicago took a rehearsal break, the Chicago Tribune reported.
Such a ring is a commonly used dancing prop. It’s unclear how much the ring weighed.
