Police say they're sure someone knows the gunman who shot a motorist to death in a vehicle with two young children in the backseat during rush-hour traffic several miles west of the Las Vegas Strip.
But homicide Sgt. Ray Steiber said Wednesday that so far, no one has come forward with the key information needed to identify the shooter in the apparent road-rage confrontation.
'All we know is there was some kind of altercation, and the next thing there was gunfire,' Steiber said of the shooting a little before 5:20 p.m. Tuesday.
