Florida woman's eye knocked out of socket after being gored by deer

A 75-year-old woman's eye was knocked out of its socket after she was gored by a deer in Florida Friday morning. The victim's sister breathlessly tried to call for help in a phone call to the Pasco County Sherriff's Office, according to audio released by the Tampa Bay Times. "My sister has been gored by a deer," said the unidentified sister of the victim, whom the dispatcher had to tell repeatedly to calm down during their conversation. When asked how serious the injury was, the sister replied, "I can't tell. It's covered in blood."
