TORONTO - Two people were shot dead and a man is fighting for his life after a shooting in York Region early Wednesday.
A emergency ambulance run transported a man, who has been described as having wounds that would be considered life threatening, to hospital.
The shooting occurred just after midnight in a vehicle outside a housing complex on Centre St. at Pugsley Ave. in the Yonge and Major Mackenzie Drive area of Richmond Hill. A man and a woman were found dead in the vehicle.
York Regional Police’s homicide squad were investigating.
A search is underway for at least one shooter.
