A grandmother who stabbed her four-year-old grandson to death was shot and killed by police after she refused to drop two butcher's knives used in the slaughter. Charlene Fears, from Buffalo, New York, was drenched in blood and brandishing the two knives when she charged at officers trying to save the boy's life. Police ordered the 38-year-old to drop the weapons and when she refused opened fire. Both the boy and his grandmother were pronounced dead at hospital following the shooting that took place last Thursday. Buffalo Police chief said two patrol officers were greeted with a scene of unimaginable horror when they were flagged down outside the front porch of Fears' home. They found the young boy bleeding profusely from stab wounds to his stomach and chest.

"He who can, does. He who cannot, teaches."
"Being is substance and life; life manifests by movement; movement is perpetuated by equilibrium; equilibrium is therefore the law of immortality.
"The doctrine of equality!... But there exists no more poisonous poison: for it seems to be preached by justice itself, while it is the end of justice.... "Equality for equals, inequality for unequals" that would be the true voice of justice: and, what follows from it, "Never make equal what is unequal."
