An elderly woman and her two dogs drowned yesterday when her car rolled into a fast flowing river.
The red saloon had stopped on a slipway as the 76-year-old and her husband waited to catch a ferry.
But when the husband got out to take photographs of the picturesque stretch of water, the car began rolling forward.
It is not known why the car started moving, although it possible that the handbrake had not been applied. Police are preparing to check the vehicle for any mechanical faults.

"He who can, does. He who cannot, teaches."
"Being is substance and life; life manifests by movement; movement is perpetuated by equilibrium; equilibrium is therefore the law of immortality.
"The doctrine of equality!... But there exists no more poisonous poison: for it seems to be preached by justice itself, while it is the end of justice.... "Equality for equals, inequality for unequals" that would be the true voice of justice: and, what follows from it, "Never make equal what is unequal."
