Arielle Troutman, one of the two North Carolina teenagers found dead on the train tracks early Sunday, was in a "dark place" after a recent breakup with her girlfriend, her father said. Jamie Troutman told the Charlotte Observer that his daughter, whom he described as "Goth-y," was a "wonderful writer and poet" with a bright future.
