A husband beat his wife to death with a vacuum cleaner and then went on the run for six months, police have said.
Cops finally arrested murder suspect Anthony Tyron Mayo, 37, on Tuesday at an apartment in Mojave City, California.
He was detained on suspicion of killing his wife Beverly McFarlane, 40, at their home in North Las Vegas in August 2012.
A police report alleges that Mayo, who had two daughters with McFarlane, strangled and then hit her on the head with the cleaning device after an argument.
