Human skull, fetus in a jar found on a Queens street; Possible religious links investigated

A human skull and a fetus were found stuffed inside a plastic bag dumped on a Queens street Wednesday, police sources and witnesses said. The black bag, which also carried a couple of dollar bills and some garbage, was found at 99th St. and 31st Ave. in East Elmhurst shortly before 7 p.m., witnesses said. “It was a small fetus in a jar,” said one man, who declined to give his name. “And there was a full-grown skull next to the jar . . . . This is the craziest thing I’ve ever seen.”
