A Sydney man who was trapped inside a commercial freezer for half an hour with the temperature set at minus 19 degrees Celsius has died.
The 23-year-old was operating a forklift alone on Saturday in Matraville in the city's east.
The forklift is believed have tipped over, trapping the man against shelves inside the fridge.
He was trapped for at least half an hour before being found by workers and taken to a nearby hospital in a critical condition.
Police say he died today in hospital.

"He who can, does. He who cannot, teaches."
"Being is substance and life; life manifests by movement; movement is perpetuated by equilibrium; equilibrium is therefore the law of immortality.
"The doctrine of equality!... But there exists no more poisonous poison: for it seems to be preached by justice itself, while it is the end of justice.... "Equality for equals, inequality for unequals" that would be the true voice of justice: and, what follows from it, "Never make equal what is unequal."
