Four young children, including twin girls, perished Wednesday afternoon when fire swept through a mobile home in the South Carolina city of Hartsville, authorities said.
The 1-year-old twins and their brothers aged 3 and 4 were found dead in the home after firefighters put out the blaze, Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee said.
Authorities said that the four children lived in the mobile home but have not been named. They added that the mother was standing in the front yard when emergency crews arrived.
